Our Mission - Your Mission
At True Pilgrimages, our mission is deeply personal.
We (Marcos and Juan Carlos) have known each other for more than twenty years. We first met during the Easter gatherings of our parish, Saint Peter in Plasencia, Spain, and since then we have walked the Camino together, literally and spiritually, through calm days and through storms, through good times and quite difficult ones.
Those years of shared faith, friendship, and perseverance have shaped the way we understand pilgrimage. For us, a pilgrimage is never just a trip. It is a path of encounter, reflection, and trust, a journey where the destination matters, but the inner transformation matters even more.
We are profoundly grateful to God and to the many pilgrims who have walked alongside us over the years, sharing their stories, their doubts, their faith, and their hope. Their spiritual journeys have enriched our own, and their trust has sustained us.
We believe God has been our staff along the road of life, helping us stand firm against the wind and not lose heart in times of hardship. With that same spirit, we continue to design pilgrimages only when they are thoughtful, journeys meant to be lived, not rushed, and cherished long after the road has ended.
